“The inspiration for this finish came from a beautiful dress in the shop window of a Bond Street store. Made from a ribbed raw silk in a polished pewter silver, the way it caught the light was so enticing. This finish is built up in multiple fine layers, the first two establish the fine ribbing within the surface. The next two layers soften yet highlight the subtle horizontal patination before the tops of the lines are carefully compacted and polished. The surface is finished with our Ecopearl wash giving a subtle shimmer and sparkle, just like raw silk.”
